Like the original HangTimer, the new application records your air time and top ten best jumps; with the improved technology HangTimer now automatically detects your ski resort anywhere in the world and downloads the area’s snow reports, lift status and trail maps. Select resorts allow HangTimer to access webcams. For users with the iPhone 3G, Hangtimer has bonus features which use the built in GPS to find your exact position for every jump and plot it using Google Maps. The GPS also enables the HangTimer application to display the users’ speed as he or she cruises along and how fast they are going when they take flight.
